Cover up, keep warm and look pretty!

With so many wedding booked for the Spring, the weather is not being kind. However, with the addition of a really pretty cardigan - yes cardigan! - or bridal coat, you can keep cosy. Have a look at the entry Still on a Winter Wedding theme  to see how cardigans really can work well. I found these on an American site and they are all on sale.

An Erin Fetherston original, fashioned from snowy brocade with three-quarter sleeves and
a cropped silhouette. Was $330 now $180.
(This would look fab with jeans on your honeymoon - double wear!)
A cosmopolitan cover-up cut from pure silk organza. Self tie. Was $450 now $100
Strong structure meets luxurious softness in Wendi Reed's refined 100% cashmere sweater.
Hidden snaps and an oversized silk satin neck bow add an extra layer of ladylike charm
to this BHLDN exclusive. Cashmere, silk. Was $280 now $140
Wendi Reed pairs the understated elegance of pure, snowy cashmere with a dramatic back
panel of exquisite sheer lace, tethering it all together with a precise row of pearl buttons.
Cashmere, nylon. Was $280 now $140.
Smart tailoring lends feminine shape and structure to boiled wool, from seaming that highlights
curves to clever notched cuffs that draw the eye. Sparkling floral buttons amp up the charm.
Merino wool. Was $160 now $60

Satin-trimmed swirls of light-as-air angora keep shoulders warm and cozy while allowing
glimpses of the gown underneath. Angora and nylon with silk satin trim. Was $170 now $60.
So all of the above are from the sale at BHLDN where you can buy all things bridal. There's a great inspiration section Binspired as well.

If these are not your choice, take a look at Justine Horrocks Bridal Coats where you will find five purpose designed coats inspired by Justine's own wedding when she was looking for something unique. They are all stunning but this is my favourite.
