A special offer

If you are going on holiday to the Niagara region, or if we could tempt you there, here's a special offer.

Your wedding ceremony during the not-to-be-missed experience of taking a boat ride to the foot of the Niagara Falls!

Yes, you could be on the Maid of the Mist, heading towards the 52 metre drop of water taking your vows!

Obviously, this will not be a quiet ceremony

and ..... it won't be private

and ..... you will get wet

but what an experience!

The cost is $1695.00 Cdn which includes a car to and from your hotel, the officiant to conduct the ceremony, two witnesses and photography in two locations.

Some Circus fun!

I found this wedding yesterday and thought what great fun it looked! There are loads of ideas that could be adapted without going for the full effect - but what an effect!!!

photography: Cameron Ingalls // venue: Bunny Hill Farm, Fillmore CA // event designer: Saralee Franchi of XOXO Bride // floral design: An Elegant Affaire // wedding dress: Allure // hairpieces: made by the bride // bridesmaid dresses: Alfred Sung // hair + makeup: Moxie Hair and Design Studio // cinematography: Nanea Miyata // Entertainment: Nathaniel + Daniel Cheli // cake: Jessie Dauria // music: STZ Entertainment // tent rental: LA Circus // rentals: Party Pleasers // lighting: Ideal Lighting and Sound // photo booth: In the Pix

Asked to give advice to those in the process of planning a wedding, the couple said:
"Our best advice would be to let the day be perfect for what is it. There will always be something to be unhappy about but if you just except the day for what it is and enjoy every second of it together it will truly be the best day of your lives."

Toronto location

If you are looking for somewhere that's out of the ordinary for a wedding ceremony and love colour, you could consider Graffiti Alley in Toronto where you will have a multitude of backdrops to choose from! Think of the photo opportunities .....

The above images are all from Jeff Cable's blog where you will find more similar images

These ones come from Foursquare and show more of the surroundings while those below are from Scrap Time and show some close ups and some 'in situ' - obviously, you'd be looking at an urban landscape not traditional pretty surroundings.

Obviously this idea isn't going to appeal to everyone but it's certainly somewhere to think about if you would like something really different - and off the wall! By the nature of graffiti, there is no guarantee that what I've shown here will still be there now or in 3 weeks or 6 months but you can be sure that whatever is there, will be equally as unique. Plenty of inspiration for colour choices and one of the images gives a subtle clue as to where you were married - can you find it?
