BEWARE!
Don't like having to do things like this but ... I was almost pulled into a scam. Had a request to do a wedding 'in my area' with a budget of $40,000. Great news! Replied and said would love to help could I have more details. Got mail back with list of what the $40,000 was to cover. Still great news! Replied with my suggestions ... No reply. Mailed again - still no reply. Then suddenly after more than two weeks a reply. BAD NEWS! The budget had dropped to $15,000 BUT a logistics agent is dealing with all transportation. EVEN WORSE NEWS. The logistics agent's credit card facility is not working so will I take the $15,000 - keep $5,000 as my deposit and forward the $10,000 to the logistics agent. NO I WILL NOT!!!
I am now tasked with speaking to the venues mentioned just in case 'they' try to scam the venues I recommended.
If you get anything similar, I will give you the email address, names and other details that were initially given to me but don't want to put them out here for obvious reasons, just get in touch.
Please, Be careful out there!

Just a perfect day ...
I'm still recovering this morning from the excitement and emotion of my first wedding at The Gazebo, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Why hasn't anyone chosen this location before? It is stunning. Yesterday was hot but with a gentle breeze coming from the Lake, it felt a little less than the actual temperature which was well over 30! The sky was blue, the lake was blue and the wedding "simple but beautiful".
These images were taken on my iPhone - but I will post some of the official photographs when they are available. Just looking at some of them on the cameras I could see that they captured so much of what the day was about for the sweetest couple and their two small children. Luckily for me - someone had to hold the baby for a while (yes, it was me!!) and also play with the little boy who was a star! He took his role very seriously [even though he found time to launch some pebbles into the lake] and did some very important jobs for me. I'd got him a disposable camera and he loved taking pictures, copying the professionals' movements and his other job was throwing the rose petals as the couple got into the London cab - their nod to home!
Also a thank you to my wonderful Canadian family & friends without whom, I would never have come to this country in the first place let alone continued to visit, find a home here and be in the position of being able to share it with some many others. You'll never get rid of me now ... Canada worked it's magic on me, for sure!

Better late than never!
I will be in SUCH trouble from my Canadian friends - I missed Canada Day! I do have an excuse ...
However, in true better late than never style - here are the images I wouldn't have been able to post on the day but are available in now!

How fab is that hat - so day appropriate?! Just LOVE it!
And here are the hometown fireworks - just sorry due to UK work commitments, we never manage to be in Canada on Canada Day.
