As this is a wedding blog, and it's Mother's Day on Sunday, I felt a fitting tribute would be to post the only photos I have of my parents' wedding. They married on 25th September 1944 in North London. I remember Mummy telling me her suit was 'powder blue' and I believe Daddy's mother made it. (She's the now politically incorrect lady in the last two photos with the fur draped over one shoulder and I remember talking to him when I was a small child - seem to think he even had a name but I've forgotten it now!).

Sorry they are a bit grainy (to say the least) but they are 68 years old!!! I'm thinking looking at the hats & Mum's head thing & shoes, they don't look as dated as I thought they would! Any thoughts?
