I came across this really cute, cosy wedding the other day. A dress and a cardigan and a scarf. Not the usual list of wedding clothing but certainly one that worked.
I can't find any credits other than the photographer: Andrea Ball who did a mighty fine job and showed how different can be amazing. Really feel this couple stayed true to themselves.

Snow and photo opportunities
Weather report is now finished and we're moving on to sunnier things .....
I'm sure, you're all aware that Toronto is one of my favourite cities - there's so much about it that I love, I couldn't begin to start a list and if I did most everything would tie at first place! Queen Street West & East are fabulous areas of the city that haven't been quite as developed as some areas although West is getting more so these days. On Queen Street West, there is a newly developed building called The Burroughes Building. It's now a mix of retail and office space with a Rooftop Terrace and space which it hires out for events. Quoting its website
“The F.C. Burroughes Furniture Company constructed the building in 1907 as its flagship retail department store. For 53 years, ending in 2002, the address was the home of King Sol, a sporting and camping gear retailer. But the site was reborn when Queen Street Partners acquired the building in 2006 and undertook an extensive renovation to restore the historic charm of the original structure and install tastemakers, creative trailblazers and community activists as its tenants.”
This wedding shot by A Brit & A Blonde is a brilliant example of photo opportunities in places that ordinarily you might not think of for wedding photography. It's also a fab example of how to theme a wedding by colour, again using what may not instantly come to mind - for example matching shoes and lipstick!
now we come to the theme colour
now we nip outside for some images that bring that pop of red back in
and make the most of some local graffiti
and window walls
before finishing up the party
As much as I love the matching lipstick and shows, I'm afraid the Groom's dotty socks are my favourite detail and the yellow balloons!
